Community Standards

When chatting or using live voice, you must not:

• use racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory abuse
• threaten or harass other users
• bully or repeatedly target another user
• engage in sexual harassment
• share another person's private or personal information (doxxing)
• impersonate others maliciously
• encourage self-harm or violence
• use voice chat for illegal activity
• deliberately spam or disrupt voice channels

Hate speech, harassment, threats and abusive behaviour have no place here.

Live voice chat is available to members aged 16 or over. Before your first voice session you must confirm you meet this age requirement and acknowledge these Community Standards. If you do not confirm, you cannot join live voice.

• Mute — you control your own microphone at all times (push-to-talk or open mic), and you can mute yourself instantly.
• Block — blocking a player stops the two of you hearing each other in voice and hides their messages. Blocks apply in both directions.
• Report — report a player straight from the voice panel. Choose a reason, optionally add a short note, and it goes to our moderators.

Depending on the seriousness and history of the behaviour, enforcement may include:

• a warning
• a voice-chat restriction (temporary suspension of voice access)
• a temporary account suspension
• permanent account suspension or termination for serious or repeated abuse

ByteBack Arcade does not record, store, or transcribe live voice audio, and voice is not monitored by automated systems. Voice streams directly between members (peer-to-peer). If a direct connection can't be established, audio may be relayed through a standard connection (STUN/TURN) server purely to keep the call connected — even then it is never recorded or stored.

If you're signed in as a member, your current voice standing appears below — including any active warnings and voice restrictions. This is visible only to you and never reveals who reported you.
